So to answer everyone’s burning question: Are we done?

Not by a long shot baby. While it’s true we’ve been non-existent here on our flagship baby, we have been busy everywhere else. So far, we’ve been working on getting our parent company set up at www.yummymachine.com which, in time, will be the hub of all of our projects.

Speaking of projects, what do we have in the pipe? With got a trippy graphic novel we’re working on called The Waltz. It’s all about life, death, redemption, crystals (not like the meth kind) and weird ass symbolism. Picture a cross between Final Fantasy 7 and The Land Of OZ. Tasty and tempting. More on that soon!

Another of our projects kicking in to high gear is a little something called Under The Glass. It’s a crime neo-noir, long form comic. Set in an alternate universe, one where the nation-state of Israel has taken over their own destiny and walled itself of from the world. Detective Ezekiel Zingel and his partner Jakob Amar must solve a high profile murder before time runs out or it’s their heads!

So please, while we are working our on other projects, be rest assured we haven’t forgotten about our baby, Nick and Dooie. We are, after all, a production company. We just aren’t one with as many hands as we want.

This isn’t a creative wall but an output wall. Our artist Nick, has recently moved back from the East Coast and is going through some transitionally changes and struggles. And no, he’s not turning into a werewolf.

All though, it would be cooler if he were.

I don’t have an honest answer for you why we missed the mark two Mondays in a row because I’m not fucking sure either.

I’m fully aware that content is king and missing an update twice in a row, after already missing one 3 weeks ago, means death for a small project like ourselves in a virtual world that moves twice the speed of stupid and pictures of cats in funny poses amuse people for hours on end.

Bottom line? Don’t become that jilted lover and leave us at the alter when we haven’t delivered everything we promised. We’ll still get you that mini-van and the fancy wall paper you loved in the store and yes, we’ll even repaint when that wall paper doesn’t quite cut it when it’s hanging in the bathroom.

Hang with us, while we work out some kinks in life and get some shit settled.When we do update, you’re going to be blown away.

Also, we’re getting ready to release a new project for creators that should move some heads. We’re currently busy testing and producing our new site and getting it to Alpha. As you can imagine, that sucks up a lot of creative juice and time/energy. Stay tuned later this week for an announcement. It’s gonna melt faces for all you creators out there.

Now I don’t want to give anyone the wrong idea, we love hearing from fans but really Mike? That’s the best you can do?

The incredible sad part is that it wasn’t Mondays strip that set him off, it was the Lent cards I made (which we’re going to convert to Easter, because why not? Everyone should enjoy them) which got Mike’s blood boiling to the point he condemned us to burn in hell. The comic was almost an afterthought for him. Kind of like getting a chicken sandwich after leaving the abortion clinic.

I presume that Mike The Archangel was para-phrasing his scripture at us because the full on Exodus 20:7 (King James Version) reads as thus:

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

You might notice that today’s comic “And It Was Good” has a Part 1 box attached to it. A part of a series, which we’re proud to present to you, the Pope and our fellow webcomicing community.

A recurring character… our buddy Jesus. Presented in a trinity of of appearances, here marks his first sighting. It marks a different path here. Instead of non sequiturs or a host of story lines, we’ll start to see some of our favorites pop up from time to time, in non sequiturs. We can’t keep it straight.

Now, as our famous Nickalaus packs his wagon, forges creeks and avoids typhus, he takes the trail to Iowa starting tonight. Moving from the East Coast can be exhausting but this is a good thing. Once he shoots Mike for the broken leg, the whole team will be within 300 miles of each other, instead of across the country. Expect great things.

Good ole Ash Wednesday… it’s a day of repentance where you ask for forgiveness from a person you’ve wronged. Which is cool I guess but before you do that, why not give them one last chance to really think about it?

56 complete sets have been downloaded and it’s shocking to think about how many spouses, friends, and random co-workers have been cerebrally mauled and ocularly raped by these cards. Keep in mind that the numbers have only been going up since the official holiday. Course, we believe that you can celebrate stalking anytime. That’s the nice thing about no restraining orders, you can just let it fly. Just don’t let it fly out of your pants without asking first. It’s the nice thing to do.

Now that we think about it, it’s kind of romantic.
