As much as we would love to be more socially minded (here on the site, not in life) the problem is a little complex. The issues like Haiti and Conan/Leno are what I affectionately refer to as "flash in the pan", meaning that by the time we get around to them (as a comic, because this shit takes an amazing amount of time, energy and planning) it's over. The country has typically moved on to the next big thing, so we like to make fun of history and movies, which as we all know has already happened.

Besides, considering the comics we have in tap for everyone, we're going to get controversial enough over the next few months, why alienate people now over something trivial like Leno/Conan?

That said... FUCK LENO. TEAM CoCo bitches!
